The ongoing war in Ukraine has led to a devastating increase in attacks on healthcare facilities, workers, and patients.
The World Health Organization (WHO) has verified 2,881 attacks on healthcare since February 2022, resulting in 233 deaths and 930 injuries. In 2025, attacks intensified, with 184 incidents in just one quarter, causing widespread damage and disrupting essential services. This is terrible!
